Hello and welcome to my portfolio page. I will use this page to showcase the work I have done and the learning I have achieved during English 1C/2C.

First, I want to list some learning goals that I set for myself and then explain how I met these learning goals:

I want to pass this class with an "A".

I want to learn alot from this class.

I hope to do well in all of my tests and my quizes and work.

I do all of my work in class and my homework.

I want to move on to English 3C/4C.

Next, I want to explain how one of our reading strategies works. Below I will explain how to Chart a Text. Then, I will give an example of how I charted a non-fiction text.

How to Chart a Text:

1. You need to make a chart with three columns.

2. Read each paragraph from the article carefuly and write on the first column what the author says on that paragraph.

3. Write the paragraph's number in the middle column.

4. Write what the author does in the paragraph on the third column. For example:

Offers a claim
Summarizes
Continues
Offers evidence
